. . I am so excited about my retirement interest. After following a friend’s suggestion to take a Beginners’ Hobby Photography class, I have fallen in love with photography. I gradu

ated to the Intermediate Hobby Photography class and have retaken it almost every semester since. Our instructor, Trudy LeDoux, raises the bar every semester and teaches to the interests and knowledge base of the class. Sunrises, sunsets, birds, flowers, animals, architecture . . . I fully intend to expand my knowledge base to take portraits also. My first published work is Fireworks July 4th 2019, through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. A friend requested a personalized calendar and chose the photos. That made me think . . . everyone uses calendars so why not make some and sell them. So it happened. Of course photos can be attached to almost anything: cups, magnets, shopping bags, mouse pads, cards, photo books and more. Presently, Susan Scott Smith Photography operates out of our home.
