Looking for an experienced Glazier to do both commercial and residential work! To Cut, assemble, fit, and install shower glass enclosures.
Responsibilities: Fabricate finished Glass products. Be able to cut glass. Install new construction windows and retro windows, installation of storefront systems, mirrors, balancers, single pane hack outs including putty re-glazes and shower doors. Repair windows and patio doors. Including all parts, locks, and rollers. Calculate material measurements to verify specifications. Drive trucks to installation sites, and unload mirrors, glass equipment, and tools. Must be on time. Must have professional and positive attitude. Be able to report to Job site at designated time.
Qualifications: Previous experience in window's, manufacturing, or other related fields. Customer service skills are very important. Read a tape measure & Comfortable on ladders. Load and arrange glass and mirrors onto delivery trucks, using suction cups to lift glass. Ability to handle physical workload. Clean driving record. Must be organized, responsible and extremely reliable.
Experienced Candidates: Experience in commercial glass, Aluminum storefront frames and entrances, glass handrails, curtain wall framing, and glass and mirror walls. Glass Installation/Construction field (Storefront and Tenet Improvement projects). Own your own tools (glass cup, hand tools etc.). Strong familiarity with OSHA safety standards. Must understand blueprints, excellent with a tape measure and measurements.
Abilities: To manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints. Pay strong attention to detail and process. Strong service orientation to customers. Be successful in a fast-paced construction environment. Work overtime when needed. Working Conditions: (physical, vision, hearing, speaking, mental, construction environment). Frequent lifting of materials. Frequent working with hands. Frequent walking, standing, & kneeling. Reading, comprehending, writing, preforming calculations, communicating orally, reasoning and analyzing.
