Sunday night we broke in the new grill with the family up north! Angus prime tomahawk ribeye, angus prime Picanha and Brazilian sausage.
Saturday was fish fry night featuring our walleye caught this past month on Lake Erie and Louisiana “mudbugs” soaked in a Cajun/butter bath.

Pork Belly Popsicles

Cut pork belly into 3” long x 1” wide strips. Use hot sauce, mustard or maple syrup as your binder then season with your favorite bbq rub.

Preheat smoker to 250 degrees. Smoke until internal temp hits 200 degrees. Roughly 2.5-3 hours.
Remove pork belly from smoker and place skewer directly through the center of pork belly strip.

Fill up a large cup with bbq sauce ( Fired Up Flavor - smokehouse reserve) and dip skewers in the sauce cup.

Place back on rack and smoke for another 20-30 minutes for your sauce to set up on the meat.
Remove from heat and rest for 10 min then serve!

The day arrived where our seasoning and sauce are in our possession after months of development!

Outlaw Southwest Seasoning is a dry rub that is great on chicken, pork, carne asada, tacos and more.

Smokehouse Reserve is a sweet/smokey BBQ sauce that has a thinner texture than most sauces on the market allowing you to utilize this sauce as a marinade, glaze and/or dipping sauce.

These products both use all natural premium ingredients, msg free, and no preservatives.

You can only order these great products directly through us until we have our online store set up. Please message us if you’re interested in one or both.

$7.99/each. If shipping is required, add $6 otherwise free if you plan on us delivering locally in eastern Iowa.

Time to announce some winners!

Thanks to all that participated in our name the seasoning and sauce contest. Although we did not select any of the names submitted, we did draw inspiration from your submissions.

Seasoning winner: Cody Matthiesen
Sauce winner: Craig Black

Once we receive the product, we will be reaching out with your basket of items that contains:
(1) seasoning bottle
(1) sauce bottle
(1lb) Wagyu ground beef
(1lb) Porkchops seasoned with our Outlaw Southwest seasoning.

Attention ALL you creative folks out there! Our seasoning along with our BBQ sauce will be released end of April. We need your ideas for what we should name them. If we choose your idea, we will gift you a bottle of each and a swag bag to go along with it.

The seasoning:
-Southwest/tex mex blend
-MSG and Gluten free
-goes great on chicken, pork and taco meat.

The sauce:
-Sweet and Smokey
-great with Pork, chicken, burgers and wings!
-also works as a marinade
