Endo Warriors of the Eastern Shore

Endo Warriors of the Eastern Shore I created this page so that all women on the Eastern Shore have somewhere safe to go and someone safe I refuse to let anyone ever go through what I have.

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and over 200 million worldwide. This page is not only for residents of the Eastern Shore but any women or their family and loved ones who need a safe place to go to ask questions, vent or just receive support. This mission is incredibly important to me because I have suffered from this disease for over 20 years with the first 5 years being told I was lying and t

he rest have been advocating for myself and trying to find resources. I will continue to spread awareness until when someone says "endometriosis" everyone knows what that is as much as if it were an ear infection or strep throat. I have teamed up with the Endometriosis Association to bring awareness to this disease. March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and even though that is the month of the Town Hall meetings, lighting up yellow and news articles and interviews I will work every day to keep brining awareness, education and support to all of those suffering with endo. Please feel free to join, ask questions and read my blog and hopefully it can help you or someone you love to fight this horrible disease. Endo is a whole body disease. it affects every part of your life physically, emotionally and mentally. Each woman's endo journey is different but we all have the same goal; to bring awareness, education and support about a disease that affects so many.

No personal information will be shared and you can contact her directly. I think its fantastic that someone in high school is doing a research project on endometriosis.

A WHOLE BODY DISEASE... I just wish people would listen.

Endometriosis is kind of like a game of Where’s Waldo?β€”except no one knows what Waldo looks like. πŸ”"
When people hear "endometriosis," they often think of the uterus. But the truth? Endo happens outside the uterus. It has been found on every single organ in the body. 🀯 The last holdout was the spleen.
This is why a full-body, multidisciplinary approach is essential for proper diagnosis and treatment. Let’s shift the conversation and raise awareness of endometriosis as NOT a period problem, NOT a uterine problem, but as a FULL BODY disease! πŸ’›
