One inch - It sounds insignificant… until you’re designing a home.
An inch can be the difference between-
•Furniture that feels perfectly proportioned and selections that overwhelm the room.
•Rugs that anchor a space and ones that feel like they're floating.
•Walkways with appropriate space & clearance.
•Cabinetry design, sight lines, symmetry... .. the list goes on..
We obsess over the little things because the little things become the big feeling.
Every piece is measured. Every layout is adjusted. Sometimes we move a chair an inch, shift a light fixture two inches, or choose a sofa that’s just slightly smaller—not because anyone will walk in and say, “Wow, that sofa is one inch smaller.”
But because they’ll walk in and say…
“This room just feels right.”
That’s the magic of thoughtful design. It’s not about filling a room with beautiful furniture. It’s about creating a space where form, function, and aesthetics work together so seamlessly that you don’t notice the decisions—you simply enjoy the feeling.
The inches matter.
And that’s why we measure everything… twice. ✨
