THEY ABANDONED HIM IN A TAXI, ALONG WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO TAKE CARE OF HIM! 🐶🥺😡🚕

In 2022, during an ordinary day on the streets of Bogotá, Colombia, Dagoberto Rojas picked up a couple in his taxi, never imagining the surprise that awaited him. When they arrived at a shopping center, the passengers asked him to wait a few minutes while they “withdrew some money” and left a suitcase on the back seat.

An hour passed, and no one came back. Then, after hearing faint whimpering, the driver decided to open the suitcase and discovered something unexpected: inside was a small Shih Tzu, along with a handwritten note containing instructions on how to care for him. The note explained what food to give him and even warned that if he became grumpy, simply putting his harness on would calm him down. Everything indicated that the abandonment had been planned.

Dagoberto refused to leave the dog to fend for himself. With the support of his fellow taxi drivers, he decided to take care of him. He named him “Toby the Taxi Dog”, and from that moment on, the little dog began accompanying him on his rides. He went from being abandoned inside a suitcase to having a new home and a daily routine with his new owner.

The passengers who left him behind never returned or contacted Dagoberto again, and eventually nothing more was known about them. In the end, Toby stayed with someone who, although he found him by chance, chose to take responsibility for him when he needed it most.

Even though Toby was already an older dog, we sincerely hope he is still by the side of the taxi driver who gave him a second chance. 🐶❤️🚕✨
