Behind the Shells 🐚🩷✨

A little peek at what happens before the finished piece!

Each oyster shell gets worked on individually, and here they’re getting their glossy finish under the resin light before everything starts coming together. 🍍

I love sharing the finished pieces, but there are so many little steps that happen at my work table first and honestly, watching a pile of individual shells turn into something completely different is part of the fun. 💕

You can even spot a finished pineapple hanging out in the background. 👀✨

Sunny days & Caviar days 🐚🩷✨

Does anyone else find a new purpose for all of their old Lilly treasures? 🌴

This little Sunny Days Ahead acrylic stand originally held Lilly calendar cards, but now it lives on my work desk holding my Caviar business cards and I think I love it even more this way. 🥹

And of course it’s sitting on my notebook in one of my forever favorite prints, Shell Me Something Good. 🐚💕

✨ MAKER MONDAY Meet the girl behind Caviar! 🐚💕

I share a whole lot of shells, Lilly, gold & glitter around here, so I thought it would be fun to share 5 little facts about the maker behind it all!

🌊 1. I’m happiest near the water. Shelling and snorkeling for seashells is genuinely one of my favorite things to do and yes, some of those treasures eventually make their way into my creations!

🐚 2. Caviar started with my love for creating. What began as making seashell jewelry has grown into jewelry, oysters, pineapples, home décor and all kinds of colorful custom pieces.

🌴 3. I’m a Florida girl by choice, not by birth! I’m originally from Northern New York, but living close to the ocean in Florida feels pretty perfect for me.

💕 4. I’m also a licensed esthetician. When I’m not covered in shells, fabric, resin or gold paint, you can find me working with clients at my other business, The Bay Spa Tampa. The Bay Spa Tampa

🎨 5. My favorite part of Caviar is that no two pieces are exactly alike. I love taking someone’s favorite colors, prints or ideas and turning them into something completely unique for their home or collection.

Okay Lilly girls… this DIY was TOO GOOD not to share! 🩷🌴✨

My friend and I turned a Lilly Pulitzer shopping bag into the cutest clear tote, and I am officially obsessed with how it came out! 🥰 I love finding fun ways to repurpose all the pretty Lilly things we can never bring ourselves to throw away. 😂🩷

Little tip: Make sure you measure your Lilly shopping bag before choosing your clear tote size! I actually cut my shopping bag down a bit so it fit perfectly inside mine, and I LOVE the finished look.

Another custom coastal pineapple is complete! 🍍🐚💚🩵✨

This beauty was created in Catchin’ Rays, and I absolutely love the fresh blues and greens paired with the natural oyster shells and hand-painted gold details. 🌊🌴

Each pineapple is created completely by hand and no two are ever exactly alike that’s part of what makes these pieces so special. 💕

🍍 A little custom order update: My August production schedule is officially FULL! I’m taking the rest of the month to focus on creating and finishing all of the beautiful orders already in my studio.

For my fellow Lilly tag collectors! 🌸💚🏷️

I wanted to try to put together a visual aid of the collectible Lilly Pulitzer Vintage Vault tags because sometimes it’s SO much easier to see them all laid out when you’re trying to figure out which ones you have and which ones you’re still hunting for! 💕🌴

These tags feature prints pulled from Lilly’s Vintage Vault, and Lilly actually calls them collectible tags so naturally, some of us need to collect them all! 😂🩷

The graphic isn’t perfect, so I’m also attaching real photos of the authentic tags for reference. From everything I’ve been able to piece together, I believe there are 36 total, and I currently have 27!

I thought this might be helpful for anyone else collecting them who wants a visual reference. If you have one that isn’t pictured or know of any I’m missing, please post a photo below! I’d love for us to figure out the complete set and make this as accurate as possible. 🌸✨

This custom pineapple is officially complete and headed to its new home! Made with authentic Lilly Pulitzer Long Stems fabric, real oyster shells, lots of gold detailing, and of course a little sparkle. ✨

Every oyster is individually selected, painted, placed, and sealed by hand — which means no two pineapples will ever be exactly alike. That’s my favorite part. 💕

These are such a fun statement piece for a coastal home, Lilly room, bar cart, entryway… or anywhere that could use a little extra happy. 🌸🍍
