I'll be redoing some of the Hexi flowers on this Kathleen Tracy mini quilt today.
They were my first hexis, and I didn't give much thought to the fabric combinations. You can see the problem really well on the red flower in the 2nd picture. The light petals look like spots when it's hanging on the wall. So, I took some of them apart, and I'm redoing them today.

I'm still not happy with the walnut /coffee stained orange fabric, so I'm going to paint her tomorrow, with the same color paint that the pattern designer used.

I've got a sampler to frame, a mini quilt to finish, 100 more to make, and a pumpkin doll to make.
The sampler is called The Needleworkers Sampler. It's a Brenda Gervais pattern.

UPDATE 10/13/26. Our friend is home, and doing well. 💗

UPDATE - Good news- There's no blockage! She does have weakness on one side. They expect a 90-100% full recovery, with physical therapy.
Let's pray that she'll be back to stitching in no time at all! 🙌

For retreat attendees~
One of our regular attendees is in the hospital with a blockage and possible side effects from a stroke.
