A quick time lapse to show some of the planing process to get boards to be square and flat. Each board takes 30-45 minutes depending. Here I’m making some wall decor boards that will be stained and have a decal on it!

The transition from the top image to the bottom one is a whole process because the wood is rough cut which means its usually never flat straight pieces. I do not buy cypress from box stores. I obtain it from nearby mills that source locally. In keeping with the Cajun Woodshop approach!
