Ugly? Maybe. Interesting? Definitely. What happens to the yarn scraps left over from previous projects? I make scrap beds for my dogs and blankets for me. I like the abstract, and a piece of every project gets to stay here.
I have 1 dog who appreciates the effort, and one who goes through beds pretty often when he gets bored (he’s currently on crate rest). With scraps, I don’t feel obligated to fix the beds 😂
