King size Minky blankets. These run about 17 pounds. Warm, soft, furry, and heavy. What more do you need for a Wisconsin winter sleep??

Today’s feature - my 1985 prom dress that I made. Prairie style with the fabulous ruffles and pleating.
I started sewing in 3rd or 4th grade in 4-H. My first project was a pinafore dress that I was forced to model. Got a third place. 😖 That was the last of the modeling career, but the sewing lived on!! After that it was red and blue ribbons, and even got a purple!

Patches - some are to cover, some to remember, some from accomplishments, some for repair.
