Oceans Deep Candles are made from 100% USA-grown vegan soy wax without any animal fat additives, dyes, or other stabilizers and feature pure cotton wicks. We pour our candles in batches of six right here in our home studio in Texas so we know exactly what goes into our candles and what absolutely does not. Unlike most other candles on the market, Oceans Deep candles never contain paraffin, phthala

tes, toxins, parabens, or any chemicals listed on California's Prop-65 list. This is very important to us - because many of these compounds are known endocrine disruptors and have been shown time and time again to decrease indoor air quality. This is the norm for most mass-produced candles due to it being the cheapest option. We believe in doing things right and ethically making our candles. This means that we spend countless hours on research to ensure we pull every single Safety Data Sheet and International Fragrance Association Certificate to ensure we only use certified clean ingredients. No dyes, funky chemicals, or funny business. Just clean candles that are safe for you and sustainable for our planet.

The website’s restocked after our festival this weekend and we are so thankful for everyone who stopped by! But to be completely honest with y’all, candles won’t really be the main topic of this post…

With the government shutdown underway, Coast Guard families are once again facing missed paychecks and unexpected financial uncertainty. Until the government shutdown ends, we’re donating 100% of the profit from every sale to Coast Guard Mutual Assistance and the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association (50/50 split). For more information on these two organizations and the amazing work they do for our CG service members and families, please check out the links in the comments.

If you’ve been waiting for the restock and are pumped to get a candle, now’s the perfect time to do it. But honestly? I’d be just as grateful, maybe more so, if you skipped the checkout entirely and donated directly.

No family should ever face financial uncertainty or worry about how to put food on the table because our congressional "leaders" can't figure out the difference between port and starboard. But this is the world we live in. We believe in showing up for the people who've got the watch and the military families trying their best to keep things running behind the scenes.

Y’all blew us out of the water this weekend and we can’t thank you enough. All weekend orders have been packed with love and are officially out the door thanks to solid afternoon naps, a few energy drinks, and extra careful/supervised toddler “help”… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’re going to be part of the Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival this weekend (!!!!!!) so we might be a little quiet on the socials as we prep for our first in-person market in over two years! But rest assured, big things are happening over here and there’s lots more to come 🙌🏼

100+ candles are currently curing (say that 10x fast) and we’re getting closer to nailing down the date for the Fall Collection launch 🍂

…but we need your help deciding on the date/time!

We know it’s a little later in the month than our past launches, but our youngest son turns one in the middle of the month (🥹) and we’ll be busy celebrating him, his first trip around the sun, and the joy he brings our little family.

We promise, this lineup is worth the wait. Plus, we’re leaning HEAVY into recycled/upcycled jars (that pass our strict heat stress tests) to keep bringing you new and unique jars for your favorite scents. Stay tuned as we get our ducks in a row because there are some amazing things on the way!

Life has a way of pulling us into new tides and fresh beginnings. This past year brought so many changes for our family. We added another human, got orders to California, said goodbye to our chosen family in Texas, packed up our lives (again) and drove 29 hours with two under two, two cats, a dog, and some very very unhappy plants. Between working full time, navigating and honoring toddlerhood and babyhood, it has been a season of stretching, growing, and learning just how capable we really are.

Through all of it, my love for creating has never left. It’s been packed away in boxes though, FOR SURE. But Oceans Deep has always been about finding calm seas in the chaos, grounding, and seeing the light in the midst of life’s shifts.

And now, with even more gratitude than before, I’m excited to announce the Oceans Deep comeback is officially on the horizon!!!

Thank you for being here, for supporting, for cheering us on. I cannot wait to share what’s next.
