This year, we refuse to celebrate a country built on stolen land, forced deportations and broken promises.
Instead, we will celebrate our people! Our kababayan! The strength of our ancestors! The courage of our immigrants! The love that holds our community together, even when this country tries to tear us apart.
This is our peaceful protest.
The butterflies we anchor in our front yard are not just decoration—they’re a powerful symbol of migration, of freedom, of hope. A reminder that we belong here. That we will not be silent.
In addition to our peaceful protest, we’ve donated to to help free local families torn apart by ICE. Because no one should sit in a cage while fireworks light the sky.
