Look at this big kid!! He is turning 10 this week and told me he's ready for big kid jobs. I am so proud of this young man and his desire to learn and accomplish big things. So today he took on mowing the front field with the mower. 🤯❤️He did a fantastic job!

I set out for a quiet morning walk down the driveway, but before long I wasn’t alone. The deer watched from a distance, the peacocks came to investigate, the chickens followed along, and a few of our children joined in too. These simple moments are easy to overlook when life feels busy, but they are often the sweetest gifts. What a peaceful life we have when we take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and notice the blessings all around us. ❤️

There is something deeply comforting about stepping outside and being reminded that YHWH is still faithful.

The flowers continue to bloom. The garden continues to grow. The birds still sing their morning songs. No matter what is happening in the world, this little piece of land is a daily reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and notice the blessings all around us.

Our homestead isn’t perfect, but it is filled with peace, purpose, and countless reminders of God’s goodness. In a world that often feels loud and uncertain, I am so thankful for the shalom that comes from working the soil, watching things grow, and gathering with the people I love most.

Today, I’m simply grateful—for this home, this land, and the quiet moments that remind me what truly matters. ❤️

Enjoying every minute. ❤️

The family, the food, the farm… I’m so thankful for it all. These days may be simple, but they’re the kind of days I never want to take for granted. Just soaking up every minute and thanking YHWH for the life He’s given us.

A jar of home-canned pinto beans is one of my favorite pantry staples! 🤎

No soaking overnight. No last-minute meal planning. Just open a jar, heat, and serve.

These pinto beans are pressure canned for 90 minutes and become the perfect shelf-stable convenience food. Add them to soups, burritos, chili, taco bowls, or enjoy them as a simple side dish. It takes a little time upfront, but having ready-to-use beans on the shelf is such a gift on busy days.

From dry beans to dinner in a jar. 🫙✨

Bruce is our most friendly peacock… and definitely our most curious. 🦚

He’s always the first to investigate anything new, the first to greet us when we’re outside, and somehow always manages to find himself right in the middle of whatever is going on. He also has a special talent for getting into mischief. 😂
