Nature Day is coming up in just 2 short weeks! We have a great day of education, connection, and fun planned for the community!

JOIN US:

Workshops:
-Nature Walk with Kay Hammer of The Kismet Corporation
-Forest Bathing in the pine forest
-Seed paper making (Bring those non-glossy paper scraps to turn waste into growable paper!)
-Ancestor Altar- Feel free to bring items to place on the altar to honor your ancestors.
-Norse Land Blot- After our land acknowledgment, we will honor the land.
-Lakshmi Ritual- Honor the Goddess of wealth and fortune.
-Walk labyrinths
-Make a Nature Journal and paint rocks with Crafty Witch!

There will be organizations with information:
-Buffalo Bat Habitat -Learn all about bats and how you can help them.
-Erie County Recycling- Find out about recycling and how you can reduce, reuse, and recycle in our community.
-The Kismet Corporation -Natural botanicals and plants
-Primeval Forest- Get your native plants here! Have questions? They can help!
-WNY Pollinator Project- All about pollinators and how you can help them!

You won't want to miss "The Broven" as they cook up some fun! They will even be having a parade!

POTLUCK! Please bring a dish to share. (Be mindful of the heat and try to plan accordingly.)

The SWAP table will be up and available to swap magical items, as well as plants!

We are in a cough and cold battle over here this time of year. One thing I always recommend is thyme for those hard dry coughs. Thyme has been used by our ancestors and throughout time (see what I did there) as an herbal remedy. Thyme is anti-spasmodic and is safe for all family members. I take a bunch of dry thyme and add it to local honey. Always make sure to cover the herb completely with all the honey you can. I let it sit for a month or so. Let's be honest, I always forget about it. It just makes it more potent right? Lol Then I sift out the green bits and give a spoonful as needed. Organic Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, infused plantago and calendula olive oil, vit E, rosemary and lemon. Simple ingredients that you can read and be confident about putting on your body. It's simple, but why is it so complicated then?
