1st annual Round About BBQ in the history books! We were excited that this one was so close to home! Big shout out to Southern Tier Events LLC for putting this together, all seemed to go pretty smooth from our end. The weather started out a little hot on Friday and it rained only a little Saturday, so all-in-all no complaints!
The first competition of the year for team GET'N SAUCED. It was the first trip with the enclosed trailer and Yoder smoker. Both came in handy as expected!
2 briskets, 6 pork butts, 8 racks of ribs and 150 chicken wings later, out of 8 teams, we came out 1st in chicken and Reserve Champion overall! Congratulations to team Burnin’Barrel BBQ for GC and team Pork Bellies BBQ for 1st place brisket and team Ash Kickers BBQ for people's choice! It was great to meet new teams and see familiar faces!
