I am thrilled to announce that I will continue spreading the light and have accepted a job through Teach For America as a 3rd & 4th grade special education teacher in downtown Newark, NJ!

There may have been some confusion whether I am still selling Kandles or not. Although I will be moving, I am still selling Kandles on Etsy! The only thing that will change is the available inventory. Inventory will be updated on Etsy to reflect the exact amount of Kandles I have made. Once they are gone, they’re gone! I unfortunately won’t be taking custom orders. If you want a custom order, do it before June 😊 Thank you for all the support leading up to this change!

Did you know that the “Unscented” Kandle is the best seller?!?! 😂😂😂 I just laugh with shock about this fact. It’s so unexpected! However, when asked why, many people say they just want the light and sound of the crackling Kandle without the fragrance. And I totally get it! Sometimes I just want the ambience, especially when I’m in between seasons and don’t know what scent I’m in the mood for.

Anyone else surprised by this fun fact of the business???

I’m still here 🤍 I have been extremely lazy posting on SM.
However, big news….I was accepted in to Teach For America and I will be moving to northern NJ in June to teach K-8 special Ed 🧩🍎

What does this mean for Kat’s Kandles??? Unfortunately because of limited space (apartment) and minimal time (teaching and going back to school), the business will run on inventory only sales. I will make a bulk amount of Kandles to take with me and will sell those until they run out. I will not be making custom orders. This is the plan now, but God’s plans are better than mine, so who knows!? 😂

In the meantime, Kat’s Kandles will continue to operate like normal until the beginning of June! Check out the newest scents and charities on Etsy!

I can’t thank everyone enough for their support over the past 2 1/2 years! Let’s continue to spread the light!!!
