✨ Looking back at my Disney collaboration from June ✨

Bringing The Little Mermaid beneath the sea to life—one seashell at a time. 🐚🧜‍♀️

This castle was created with 1,000+ seashells and sand, with each shell carefully selected and placed to build the architecture, texture, and details of Ariel’s underwater world.

I designed and sculpted the piece, and filmed and edited the entire process myself.

One of my earlier works, Madagascar created in 2022 with beach sand and seashells collected in New York sent off to private collector yesterday. It’s always bittersweet seeing a piece go but happy he’s in good hands and will be cherished.

On National Lion’s Day, I’m grateful for the inspiration from the king of the jungle to create this sculpture that led to many more sustainably collected beach sand and seashell sculptures. Proud to share my tiger sculpture in honor of International Tiger Day. 🐅 Created from sand and sustainably collected seashells, this piece is a reminder that these magnificent animals are disappearing from the wild. Every species lost takes with it a story that can never be replaced. 🌿

One of the perks of being a shell artist is beachcombing. Every shell I find has the potential to become part of a future sculpture, so I’m one of the lucky ones who gets to call the beach my office.

Most people don’t think of New York as a shelling destination, but if you know where to look… it can be just as rewarding as Florida. 😉🐚

Sometimes the most extraordinary shells are found in the most unexpected places. 🦅🇺🇸
This original bald eagle sculpture was handcrafted from white oyster shells generously given to me by an Airbnb host in upstate New York, who had received them from a local fisherman. Every shell was individually selected for its unique shape, texture, and character to create the realistic feather detail that brings America’s symbol of freedom to life.

Jingle shells are named as such because of the sound they make. I’m always amazed at how strong and resilient they are even though they look so delicate. The colors of these shells are amazing components for shell art to liven up coastal decor/interiors. They are slightly iridescent which gives it an ethereal quality. I hope to be incorporating more of these colorful shells to my art.
