Hi, flower friends! 🌸
Let’s talk flower care! These roses are leftovers that I’ve had for over three weeks, and they’re still going strong! A little care can make such a difference in how long you get to enjoy your flowers.
💐 Hand-tied bouquets are super easy to care for. You can leave your bouquet tied, trim the stems to your desired length, and pop it right into a vase. Or, untie it and create your own arrangement!
Every couple of days, give the stems a fresh trim at an angle, rinse your vase well, and refill it with clean, fresh water.
🌷 Larger or fixed arrangements need a little different care because they drink A LOT! Simply place the arrangement in the sink (or even the bathtub if it’s a big one!) and carefully top it off with fresh water every couple of days. Try not to let the container run dry.
☀️ For all fresh-cut flowers: Keep them away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and warm rooms. They’ll be happiest in a cool spot—ideally around 72°F or below.
And remember, different flowers have different vase lives. Some varieties can look beautiful for weeks with proper care!
