I just finished teaching a Half-square triangle class, and my student asked me to finish her sampler quilt. Didn't she do an amazing job with her points and precision...and this is her SECOND quilt!

This quilt has an amazing story - in the 1970's the creator was attending college, and hand-appliqued each of these blocks while in class...so fidgeting before fidgeting was a thing! The quilt has been in storage until just recently - and I had a great time working with the various different fabrics. She plans on finishing this quilt by sewing on buttons for eyes and other adornments.
