As I was packing up some orders today, my heart filled with gratitude. Seeing our candles being celebrated not just for little ones, but for big birthdays too, truly means everything to me.

I feel deeply honored that our beeswax number candles are loved by so many across all ages. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued support, it never goes unnoticed.

Of all the candles we create, it still means so much to know that our original beeswax number candles remain a favorite.

We had such an incredible time in San Francisco this past weekend for Renegade! It was so special to reconnect with friends and family, and to spend time in some of my favorite places from my younger years.

We’re feeling really excited for the upcoming shows this spring and summer, especially around Seattle and San Francisco. There’s just something so magical about April on the West Coast.

We are so excited for Renegade San Francisco this weekend! We have been preparing for this for months and we’re now in full hustle mode, cramming in as many last minute preparations as possible.
Along with our beeswax candles, will have a selection of our handmade pottery candle holders available. These are only available in person.

Spring is almost here, and we can feel it in the air.

These lovely candles are on their way to Berkeley, carrying a little of that bright, hopeful feeling that comes with the turning of the season.

We’ll also have them at all of our upcoming spring and summer markets, beginning with Renegade Craft in San Francisco on March 28 + 29, with more shows to follow in Seattle and Montana.

If you’re nearby, come see them in person, pick them up, feel their weight, and watch them glow. There’s nothing quite like experiencing them in real life.

A bit about our beeswax.

At our in person markets, our match strikers always draw a crowd. People love picking them up, admiring their weight, feeling the rough surface, and of course striking a match to experience that satisfying spark.

After months of being handled and tested, a small number develop a beautifully weathered patina. They still function perfectly, but they are a little less than pristine in appearance.

Rather than letting them sit in the studio, we’ve listed a handful in our online shop at half price. If you love a piece with character and a story at a fantastic discounted price, you can find them there now.

Winter in Seattle can be a complicated season for me.

I’m always cold, always layered, always longing for warmth and sunlight again. But late winter has its quiet magic; the lengthening days, the first brave blooms, and gentle reminders that something warmer and brighter is coming.

If you ever have the chance to grow a pink dawn viburnum, I hope you do it. The soft, pink, late-winter blooms are a delicate promise and fragrant reminder that spring is just around the corner. 🌸

Until then, I’m finding comfort in beeswax candlelight. I’ve been pouring and dipping lots of beeswax candles this month; warm, golden little suns for your home. They’re available in my online shop for anyone else craving coziness while we wait for the earth to thaw and wake up. 🍃

2025 was such a phenomenon year with so many happy events for which to be grateful!! Several trips home to San Francisco and Mendocino with my loved ones were the highlights for me! Special times with my husband and our boys, snowboard camp for our boys with Shaun White, a beautiful year of gardening, new beeswax creations born in my mind and brought to life by my hands, many successful market events, and so much growth for this small beeswax company! I have so much gratitude for all who support and cheer me on nearby and from afar. My cup runneth over! Cheers to 2026!
