🐔❤️ A BIG milestone at The Mustard Seed Hen House!❤️🐔
After weeks of planning, building, problem-solving, and a few rain delays... our new chicken run is finally coming together!

Yesterday, all 17 of our younger girls moved into their new home. Today, I finished setting up the nesting boxes and added fresh bedding. They are already scratching around, exploring, and making themselves at home.

Tomorrow we'll begin introducing a few of the older girls and let everyone slowly get to know each other. Prayers appreciated that everyone gets along! 😊

It's not completely finished yet, and there are still improvements we'd like to make over time, but seeing these girls enjoying the coop that Mark and I built together with a bit of help from our Son Ryan Gardner (he helped build the frame), Makayla Mae Tracy (she helped put together the the houses) and Lori N Ron Thrasher (donated the blocks to put around the outside) it makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Sometimes the best things in life aren't built in a day...
They're built with faith, patience, and a whole lot of love.

No matter what this past week has held—joys, disappointments, victories, or struggles—today is a new opportunity to draw closer to the Lord.

God isn't asking us to have everything figured out. He's simply inviting us to come to Him with willing hearts. His grace is new every morning, His mercy never runs out, and His love never fails.

Before you rush into another busy week, take a few moments today to rest in His presence. Open your Bible. Spend time in prayer. Let Him fill your heart with the peace that only He can give.

🐔💕 Meet the Newest Members of The Mustard Seed Hen House! 💕🐔

Our granddaughter Wednesday just celebrated her 5th birthday and was given the very important job of naming our four new Barred Rock chicks.

After careful thought, she proudly chose:

🐥 Chicken Nugget
🌸 Flower
⌚ Watch
🛏️ Pillow

I have a feeling once her two aunts see these names in the family group chat, they may stick in some fashion! 😂

The chicks are settling in nicely and growing every day, and we're excited to watch them become part of our flock.
