Introducing my son to the zesty world of Jamaican Tamarind Balls was a rollercoaster of flavors and laughter! 🎢🇯🇲 He knew about tamarinds, but these spicy-sweet treats? A whole new adventure! 🌶️🍭
I dove into the kitchen, transforming tamarind, a sprinkle of magic (aka sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and a dash of cayenne), into these bite-sized bursts of heritage. 😄👨‍🍳 It was more than just cooking; it was laughter, stories, and a dash of mischief rolled into one. 🎉👩‍👦
Here’s the fun part:
* Tamarind Wrestling: Stripping those tamarinds was like a mini treasure hunt!
* Potion Mixing: Stirring in the spices felt like we were brewing a secret family potion!

Garlic Parmesan Canned Green Beans with a Veggie Twist:

🌿🧀 Elevate your side dish game with our Veggie-Infused Garlic Parmesan Canned Green Beans! 💚✨Quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious! Follow for more flavor fusion 👇 #10

Ingredients:

2 cans (about 14 oz each) of whole green beans, drained
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sliced red onion
1/2 cup strips of carrots
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:

Prep the Ingredients:
Drain the canned green beans and set them aside.
Slice the red onion and prepare strips of carrots.
Sauté Garlic and Veggies:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Porridge is a breakfast option that I grew up eating/drinking. It was either Oatmeal, Cornmeal, hominy, or Rice. In this video, I have diverted from the traditional Plantain Porridge recipe and presented you with something new, fresh, and improved.

Ingredients
3 green plantains
1 cup coconut milk
3 cups water
1 Tbsp nutmeg
1tsp cinnamon
salt to taste
vanilla

For the Custard
4 egg yolks
4 Tbsp Granulated sugar
3Tbsp cornstarch
vanilla extract
4 cups Half and Half
1 Tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste
