Walking through the historic Chighizola House at the preview party felt less like touring a home and more like stepping into a story—where French-inspired elegance, centuries-old craftsmanship, and modern refinement coexist effortlessly. Every painted ceiling, collected antique, original fireplace, and thoughtfully restored detail proves that the most beautiful homes aren’t built around trends—they’re built around history.

Before and After! So much heart and soul was poured into the restoration of the house💙 We are so happy to see many of our antiques, custom draperies, and lighting in this space designed by Suzanne Winston and Associates NKBA, IDS and to be a part of preserving this important history for the city of Mobile. We found the most amazing store specializing in estate jewelry and vintage Chanel in Nice - just steps from the beach. The store had also has some of the most beautiful chandeliers we’ve seen on this trip. I’m seriously, contemplating how to get a couple of them home in my suitcases. Yes, that has actually happened before 🤣! Be sure to look at photo number five to see the prettiest Bacarrat chandelier ever!

We made it to the Cote d’Azure! Perfect date night with dinner at Le Negresco, and an evening stroll along the famous Promenade des Anglais. Le Negresco is an Historic Hotel filled with 17th century antiques and more than 6000 pieces of antique art! And the restaurants are pretty good too! Take a peek👉 🇫🇷❤️

Marseille in 48 hours! We moved on from to meet up with friends for their annual Bastille Day festivities. ( and a little antiquing,and sourcing for clients, too) Thanks Bella Bonnechance for the invite to the amazing rooftop party overlooking the Old Port. As you can see, the view is incredible! In the distance you can see the famous Basilica, Notre Dame- de la Garde. It has been a beacon to sailors and the faithful since 1850. If you look closely you can see the giant gold leaf statue of Mary holding baby Jesus glistening in the distance. Next up: The French Riviera!

Paris Day 1 - We braved the heatwave to visit the Paris Flea Market 😅and then had a great time at with our new friends from Texas. Catherine C Shoppa so glad I heard you say “y’all” and knew instantly I had found my peeps! What a blast spending the day and evening with you and your precious Mom! The first of many fun times I’m sure! Swipe to see one of my favorite booths in the flea market and take a look at the fabulous decor in the Soho House.
