She said YES! 🥂

Congratulations to Ben and Julienne on their engagement! 🤍🤍 What a huge joy to get to play a small role in the beginning of their next chapter. My heart is full. 🥹

❄️ Happy Frostmas ❄️

But also 😭😭😭😭😭

We covered the dahlias, but after initial inspection, I don’t think it was enough to save them. Time will tell. Now we wait.

Mother Nature always has the final say.

One of the best parts of our flower journey has been all of the sweet couples who have entrusted us with their wedding florals. It’s been our sincere honor.

We’re currently booking for 2027 with limited availability. Inquire via link in bio or message through socials for available dates. Our 2028 books are now officially open!

I love it when people send me pictures of their beautiful creations they make after they take home Flowers by the Bucket. Our bulk buckets of flowers make DIY flower projects so much easier! We do all the thinking and prepping for you!

Look at these gorgeous creations for a sweet baby shower. I absolutely loved how they incorporated the high chair from their grandma’s house. All the grandkids used it, and now it goes on to the next generation. 🥹

We love getting to be part of all the big moments in people’s lives. 🥰

All things seed saving and drying have commenced. You don’t need fancy equipment or storage containers.

For zinnias, I just cut the heads off and drop them in a cardboard box. I stir them up a couple of times a week to help everything dry out evenly. Then over the winter, when I have more time, I start pulling the seeds out and dropping them into a big manilla envelope.

A couple quick notes:

• To make sure you have viable seeds, let the flower head start drying up in the stem. The seeds need to be dark and not bendy. I sometimes pull a few out before cutting the flower off just to be sure.
• If the seeds are green or translucent and bendy, they will not be viable seeds.
• You’ll need to do this before your first killing first.

I’ll share a couple videos in my stories on celosia seed collection. It’s super easy, and you’ll get TONS of seeds! It works like a charm!

I’m just drying the gomphrena, strawflowers, and statice for wreath making.

We’re in that weird gap of time where we are cleaning up the fields to get ready for next season, planting for spring blooms, harvesting what’s currently blooming for orders, and trying to plan for a potential frost at the end of the week. My brain has a lot of tabs open. But how lucky am I to get to wake up tomorrow and do it all again?!?

Chad’s on Fall Break. Both kids are home. We saw both sides of the family this weekend. My cup is full of hot c***r with whipped cream and cinnamon. But my heart is full to overflowing with love and gratitude. 🤎🧡
