Another all time favorite. ❤️

I packed up my paint supplies and hit the road for sweet Rhaleigh, and from the very beginning, this girl knew exactly what she wanted.

Some seniors spend weeks deciding on a design. Rhaleigh showed up with a vision, a plan, and enough creativity to make my job easy. She had this one locked down from day one.

She’s a Treaty Oak Revival girl through and through, so naturally the design table saw plenty of Treaty Oak inspiration this year. We kicked off the season with Treaty Oak vibes and somehow ended it the very same way. Talk about bringing it full circle.

“If it ain’t Texas, it ain’t home.” 🤠🎶

What I love most about this space is that it feels so uniquely her. Bold, creative, confident, and completely original. Every detail reflected exactly who she is, and that’s what made it so much fun to paint.

The best part, though? Somewhere between paint samples, design tweaks, road trips, and parking space conversations, Rhaleigh and her family became so much more than clients. They became friends. The kind of people you’re excited to see pop up on your calendar and sad to finish a project with because it means the visits are over.

This one will always be a favorite, not just because of the design, but because of the people behind it.

Late-night Pinterest doom scrolling led me straight to this little surprise. 🤭

Imagine my shock when I stumbled across a senior parking space I painted sitting on Pinterest.

This spot was the bane of my existence last summer. Every day, HB would swing by expecting to see major progress, and every day I was usually elbow-deep in one of my other spaces with this one still looking half-finished.

But when it finally came together… it came together.

All that HB energy showed up at once, and this spot turned into an absolute showstopper.

To this day, it’s still one of my all-time favorite senior spaces I’ve painted. The details, the colors, the personality.. it had the whole parking lot stopping to look.

And while my sweet senior ended up taking her talents all the way to Florida… apparently her parking space is still making the rounds. 🩷✨

Not many people can say their work ended up on Pinterest. I’ll take that as a win.

The last few weeks have looked a little different around here. Life got heavy, timelines shifted, and things moved a little slower than normal while I handled funeral planning and everything that came with it.

It’s been a wild few weeks, and life definitely threw a few curves I wasn’t prepared for. Between grief, funeral planning, and trying to keep my footing, things slowed down more than I wanted them to.

But in the middle of all of it, I was still able to complete a few grad caps for some truly amazing seniors, and I’m so thankful for every one of them. 💛

To my sweet grads.. thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for sticking with me through all the emotions these past few weeks. Your understanding meant more than you know. Getting to create something special for such an important milestone reminded me why I love doing this in the first place.

I need to correct one important piece of information regarding parking spot selection!

Parking spot pick order is NOT based on when your design is submitted.

✅ Spot selection order is actually based on your PAYMENT TIME STAMP beginning when payments open on July 13th at 8:00 AM.

This means the earlier your parking space payment is made through RevTrak/cash/check, the earlier you will get to pick your spot on selection day!

📝 HOWEVER.. your designs and paperwork CAN and SHOULD still be submitted ASAP so they can be approved before deadlines.

Here’s the BIGGEST thing to remember this year 👇🏻

⏰ PARKING SPACE PICK ORDER IS BASED ON YOUR PAYMENT TIME STAMP — NOT your design submission time!

💳 Payments open Monday, July 13th at 8:00 AM through RevTrak, cash, or check.

The EARLIER your payment is submitted, the EARLIER you get to pick your parking space on selection day!

📝 Designs and paperwork can absolutely be turned in NOW and SHOULD be turned in ASAP for approval purposes — but your PAYMENT timestamp is what determines your picking order.

⚠️ YOU MAY NOT START PAINTING UNTIL YOUR PRIMER IS DRY.

✍🏻 DRAW OUT DESIGN CLIENTS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

If you chose a draw-out design, your background colors MUST be painted on primer day.

I will mark a rough layout showing where the large color changes/background sections should go so you can paint the correct background colors in the correct areas first.

🎨 AFTER the background painting is complete, I will come back and complete the full detailed draw out for your design.

This step is SUPER important and MUST be done on priming day!

‼️ VERY IMPORTANT RULES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🚫 You MUST leave a SIX INCH BORDER inside your parking space on ALL sides.

➡️ Measure 6 inches INSIDE the white parking lines and tape it off BEFORE priming.
➡️ DO NOT paint the curb or white parking lines.
➡️ If your spot has a curb, your design begins SIX inches below it.

🎨 ONLY approved paint types allowed:
✔️ Water based exterior latex paints ONLY
❌ NO oil based paint
❌ NO spray paint
❌ NO glitter or reflective paint

☀️ It is HOT. Be prepared!

⏳ ALSO — be prepared for painting to take MULTIPLE DAYS depending on the size and detail level of your design! Some spaces cannot be completed in a single day, especially in the heat.

Plan ahead and do NOT wait until the last minute!
