THE BRIDE HAD A VISION. THE GROOM WALKED INTO A RING OF FIRE. 🔥🥂
A little trip down memory lane…
Six years ago today, I had the pleasure of designing one of my favorite celebrations of all time… my own wedding!
And if you know me, you know ordinary was NEVER going to be an option. 😉
The florals, the details, the drama, the unexpected touches… every element was thoughtfully curated to create an experience that was anything but traditional.
Including sending Travis down the aisle to Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.” Because why not start a marriage with a little warning? 😂🔥
And then there was The Three Waiters…
What appeared to be your typical waitstaff serving our guests turned into something entirely unexpected. Three undercover performers, blending seamlessly into the evening, suddenly broke into an incredible musical performance!
The initial confusion, the realization, and then the absolute amazement on everyone’s faces… PRICELESS!
Because I’ve always believed the best celebrations don’t just look beautiful. They surprise you. They entertain you. They make you feel something. And they leave you with stories worth telling years later.
Looking back, this celebration represents so much of what I continue to believe about design. Whether it’s a wedding, an interior, or an unforgettable experience, the magic happens when you throw out the rulebook and create something that feels entirely your own.
Bold choices. Beautiful details. A little unexpected drama.
That’s the Peacock & Lola way.
And as for us? Almost 13 years together, 6 years married, and somehow the fire is still burning! 🔥
Cheers to us, to doing things our own way, and to a wedding I’ll never get tired of looking back on! 🥂
