I completely forgot to share this special project with all of you.

A sweet customer first ordered one of my “Gone Fishing” signs, then reached out to ask if I had anything featuring Psalm 23 that would be suitable for her father’s funeral. I did have a few designs, but none of them felt worthy of honoring such a special occasion.

So, I started from scratch.

I spent over 6 hours designing a brand-new Psalm 23 piece, carefully creating every detail with the hope that it would bring comfort and peace to her family. Once the design was complete, I sublimated it onto a 9.5” x 11.5” natural photo slate so it could be displayed at the front of the service.

She then asked if I could also create another “Gone Fishing” sign because her father loved to fish. It was truly an honor to help bring her vision to life.

Projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Every memorial piece I create is made with the same care, love, and attention to detail that I would want if I were creating something for my own family.

I also wanted to share something that many people don’t often think about. When you purchase a custom handmade item, you’re not simply buying the finished product. You’re investing in the time, creativity, experience, and heart that goes into designing something created especially for you. My wreaths, signs, bows, and gifts are never mass-produced. Each one is thoughtfully designed and handmade, one at a time, right here in my home with the hope that it will touch someone’s heart.

The photo slate was still warm when I took the picture. After it cooled, I carefully packaged it right away so I could expedite the shipment and make sure it arrived well before her father’s services. I wish I had taken more photos because it is even more beautiful in person.

New Halloween wreath just added to my shop! 🎃🐈‍⬛🍬

This handmade wreath features my exclusive “This House Runs on Candy Corn and Chaos” metal sign, with the cutest black cat, candy corn, pumpkins, a sweet little ghost, and vintage Halloween details.

I designed this one with a full deco mesh base, coordinating ribbons, pumpkins, candy corn accents, and wispy black and purple Halloween greenery for that fun spooky look. It has a playful Halloween feel while still keeping that rustic vintage charm.

Approximate size: 25” wide x 28” tall x 8” deep

How precious is this sweet fall witch sign? 🍂🎃

This beautiful metal sign is perfect for wreath makers, fall decorating, Halloween wreaths, or anyone who loves that soft whimsical autumn look.

Please note: the wreath shown is only a mock up to help display how the sign could look in a finished wreath. The wreath itself is not included. However, if you would like a custom wreath made with this sign, I do take custom orders. Each wreath is handmade, so it will look different than the mock up, but it will be designed beautifully to coordinate with the sign.

Tonight I found myself missing my family and all the sweet chaos of childhood. The older I get, the more I realize those simple moments became some of the greatest treasures of my life.

Running barefoot through the grass…
laughing until dark…
brothers aggravating sisters…
mamas calling everyone in for supper…
and memories that somehow stay tucked deep inside our hearts forever.

So I decided to start bringing some of those memories back to life through my art. ✨

This Red Rover sign was inspired by my childhood growing up in a big family with 7 girls and 3 boys. We didn’t have much, but oh the memories we made. ❤️

My hope is that when people see these signs, they don’t just see decor…
I hope they remember.
I hope they smile.
I hope they tell their children and grandchildren stories about the games they once played and the people they once loved.

Because memories like these deserve to live on. 💙

Who remembers playing Red Rover as a child? 💙
