A little Saturday afternoon sock work for me and a nap for the hubby with Aspen.
I finished the toe and now I'm on to the foot section. The stitch marker is for the beginning of the round. I'm enjoying doing this one toe up. I'm using a slightly larger circular needle than the pattern called for because I couldn't find the right size. I'll look for the right size for the next pair. Maybe I'll check The Yarn Basket and The Knitting Cottage. I think those are the only 2 places I didn't look. Lol.

This beautiful mini butterfly bush is so busy today!
This is the view from my kitchen sink as I take a crochet break and wash a few dishes. It's always extra busy at this beauty during the last few weeks of summer. Later this evening the humming birds will join the frenzy. It's my favorite place in my yard.

The arms and legs are attached and the hair is done.
I'm not sure I like the hair though. Maybe a different color? I won't attach the hair. Next is the hat. Maybe I'll like it better after the hat is on.
What do you all think? Hair? Or bald? Or different color?

Good morning!
We made it home safe and sound. It was a lovely visit to Myrtle Beach. I always enjoy my time there.
I also made a visit to my favorite LYS while I was there and picked up some Universal Bamboo Pop Sock yarn. They're located at Surfside Beach and it's always a pleasure to visit. If you're ever in the area, definitely go see the lovely ladies at Knit-N-Purl !
I also checked out what was in the local Walmart and found 2 colors of RH Bitty Stripes that I can't find in stores at home. Sunset Beach and Mermaid. I'm definitely going to have fun with these. It's good to be home!
