My first attempt at making a side table out of 100% deep pour resin! I have never used deep pour before and I now understand better that it is literally water to use so getting intricate designs with it is very difficult!! This is why my “smoke trails” are thick and not what I originally had as an effect but my first attempt started to pool in the center, covering up the Volvo emblem so I had to save it before I lost my chance! The legs are not on it yet because the screws they come with are not beefy enough to hold the weight and this piece needs some sanding, which I am not able to do. I’m searching for someone that knows how to sand resin and would be willing to help me out!! This is the largest piece I have made so far at 14” round and 2” thick and I’m proud of myself for doing it in the minimal space I have to work in. I hope you all like it 🙂
