In the beginning......

Somewhere under a shed or a woodpile near your house — a red fox is giving birth right now.

Four to six kits. Each one weighs a few ounces. Eyes sealed shut. Dark brown, not orange. You wouldn't recognize them as foxes.

She won't leave the den for two weeks. The male brings food to the entrance every night. He doesn't go in.

Right now there's nothing to see. But the fox trotting through your yard with food in his mouth and an urgent pace — that's the tell. He's delivering.

🦊 If you think there's a den nearby:

- Stay back and use binoculars — approaching pushes the mother to relocate
- Don't place food near the entrance — the male is providing
- If it's under your deck or shed, leave it alone until summer. The family disperses by July
- Don't call animal control — a den near your house is normal and temporary

...and then... he told me to buy a table-saw...I built this stand for her and then SHE SAT FOR 3 MTHS!! - While I spiraled into the youtube vortex of every gory table saw attack - then I transitioned to safety videos and waited until that fear morphed into respect. Then I flipped her on.... and stood waaaaay baaackk 🤣
. no for real tho .. she's a beast - and 100% wants to murder me..

Building my first workbench...don't ask if it's square and we can still be friends 😅 This was when I realized Jesus was making a special place for us to be together, in step and in obedience - this was just last year, seems like a decade ago 😎

I was so concerned on that side view LOL - What was I thinking? idk - had all kinds of idea to cataliever supports for it but turns out I haven't needed it. All gravy.

My "Aunt in law" if that's a thing - but really my NEW FRIENDS IN CHRIST Jennifer Tillman Lang had been so patient... Just picked out 3 crosses from the new batch ❤️ So excited about watching what Gods gonna do in her life 🙌 PRAISE JESUS!!!
