Unfortunately we’ve had a lot of family things going on and family will always come first for us. What was initially a 1-2 week break has turned into several months due to unforeseen circumstances.

Stay tuned for some new custom pieces in the next coming months! My husband recently bought me a laser cutter engraver, so once I figure it out lol, I’ll be making all kinds of pieces.

Beyond happy with how this sign turned out!!

Sometimes, designs are easy peasy and sometimes they’re a labor of love.

I wanted to keep the design very similar to the actual sign in Harry Potter without it being identical. Every single time I thought I had the layout figured out, I would figure out after it was cut that I didn’t like it, or it was too small, or something just wasn’t right. There was a lot of contouring, attaching, detaching, resizing, changing fonts, and frustration but the end result was worth it.

This is a personal piece and not for sale. It’s for our new bookcase and this will go at the top of the 4 foot Harry Potter section.

Been a bit since I’ve posted anything. My momma has been in the hospital for a bit and now in a rehab facility recovering from a couple surgeries. So, I needed to take a step back and focus on my family.

But today, I made this for my momma to take to her on Mother’s Day next weekend.

I’ll be back at it this next week with several new pieces lined up. Stay tuned to see the bookcase the hubs and I are building and what I make to add some bookish character to the space. Think moody Harry Potter!
