I feel like a lot of people remember gremlins as just a mischievous bunch of impish hooligans, parading around like they owned the town. Vandalism, trespassing, theft, and some aggressive human confrontations.

But they were super violent.They killed at least four people, injured dozens (if not hundreds), and nearly leveled a cute little Pennsylvania hamlet. And that was just the first movie.

This one actually took the head off of Jesus, commandeered his body, and is now parading around with his head in his palm.

Not cool.

I’m not sure what this sweet, little piece is trying to say, but it sure might look nice on a wall.

Maybe it’s trying to say that the conclusions that we’ve drawn up to this point in our lives, be them political, spiritual, religious, familial, etc, may not actually be our own, but rather an amalgam of ideals shoved down our throats at an early age, before we were even able to make our own decisions, or form our own beliefs. And when we walk around believing what we’ve been programmed to believe, we may find, through not fault of our own, that we have grown into arrogant, narrow-minded, preachy, sexist, self-righteous, elitist snobs, predestined to program the next generation into brand new, hopeless units of our old, boring selves.

Or, it could just be a funny play on words!

If you like your wall art long and tall, you might decide this piece is for you in the next couple of minutes.

Every once in a while a frame comes along that is longer and thinner than most. This was one of those frames.

The problem was that once I bought it, I had to figure out what to put into it. Then I remembered that I had a poster with a super tall and thin chick with a long handgun and punk-me boots just sitting around doing nothing.

I cut her out of the poster with an exacto, painted the backdrop, and slowly set her into the frame. Man, did she fit perfectly?

That was a rhetorical question. She DID fit perfectly.
