Just back from a wonderful weekend in Pacific Grove. They have it all. Vintage shops, tea, stationary shop, book shop, a few clothing boutiques, great little local eaters, fantastic Victorian architecture, and just steps from some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. If you haven't been to Pacific Grove, CA … it's a must.

Don't know why these vintage children's themed home szchotksies (sp) spoke to me last year at the Sutter Creek, CA Peddlar's Fair. The clown on the left (and I've never been attracted to clowns) is a nightlight. The humpty dumpty in the middle is a door stop, and the humpty dumpty on the right is a lamp. I put the night light in my sons' bathroom and the oldest told me to get rid of that scary thing. Boys … hard to get them to appreciate vintage.
