This weekend I made the short drive to mesquite for the Smoke & Saddles bbq cook off competition at the mesquite rodeo. As Hoggy Style I cooked against 45 other exceptional teams!

I dont usually post my money winnings on here but they didn’t give out certificates or awards except 1st place so here it is! Also dont judge my chicken, shes ugly because chicken supplier changed processers and she was butched pretty bad when I pulled her from the package so I slapped some lipstick on her and sent her in!

This weekend I competed as Hoggy style and made the short trip down to Ft Worth, TX for the Cooking for Canines Outlaw BBQ association event and competed against 33 great cooks one of them being my husband!

🐖- 10th
🐂- 2nd!!!!!!
That was good enough for 7th overall!!

So this weekend I cooked in my first INDIVIDUAL comp under Native Smokes old banner name of Hoggy style! We went to Palmer Tx this weekend for another Outlaw BBQ association competition. Great job Timothy Esh on running a great comp! Also want to say Thank you J Bar Cowboy church of Palmer for putting on an amazing event, yall definitely made us feel welcome and looking forward to next year! We had 25 amazing cooks show up to compete and because of this it was a hornets nest of experience and skill! Congratulations to Aj George on his GC and Brian Coulter RGC! Couldnt have done it without my sponsor Bubba's Blue Plate BBQ Supply And Gourmet Wood Products, Inc.For taking care of all my bbq supply and needs! Thank you to my husband Jaime Garza for being with ne every step of the way and for running my boxes and being a damn good dish washer! When the smoke cleared I turned in a 3rd place rib and 12th place brisket! Good enough for 8th place overall! Not bad for a first timer, definitely learned some stuff and know what I need to do better!
