Lately I've been working on my own home. A lot of this will end up as inventory someday. But for now I'm gonna enjoy the happiness it brings. I'm the exact opposite of a minimalist and I'm not mad about it. Sometimes I drive myself crazy because it does get out of control at times (sure drives my husband crazy too lol). But with this new season of life I am learning to let stuff go. It's not easy! But to have a space for me to be creative while also having a calm environment to study as a nurse and relax with my family means more to me than hitting up the thrift store every day. I absolutely love styling my home and making it unique. Perhaps someday God will allow me to bless others with this gift. For now I'm not stressing. I'm not pushing. I'm not trying to fit into a box that isn't built for me. I won't force open a door that is supposed to be shut. I will choose to remain present in the moment and not always trying to do what other people are doing. Comparison will rob your joy. I've allowed it to control all aspects of my life for far too long. It's time to take control of my creativity again and stop looking for the next trend. So what you see is me. It always has been me. A little chaotic? Perhaps. But it all makes sense in my messy and loud brain 🙂 It's an ADHD thing. IYKYK!
