working on painting this little skull, trying for the whole abstract look. Not sure exactly how it's gonna look when I'm finished, Sometimes I change things around. 🤷‍♀️ This is what I have right now and the lines need cleaned up as well. The eyes aren't glued in yet , I just. set them in to see what it looks like with them in while I'm painting. 🤷‍♀️🤪💀

my other project I've been working on I got all my poetry printed out and laminated to put in a notebook. I have the back cover made and just need to do a front cover now.

I started a few fillers and my dragon for the dragon egg. I forgot if you put stuff in resin that will float you need to pour only partway and let it dry, then do another pour... oopsie! 😸 I'll have to do the butterflies again depending on which one I decide I want to be earrings since the mold doesn't have 2 of the same size and shape butterflies. It takes 8 hours before you can remove them from the mold . 24 hours to fully cure up. I'm doing the letters because I want to put them in a brain mold that will say "Use it" and make a keychain. 🤪😆

Starting on the biggest skull. My vision for it is I plan to do ying yangs in the eyes... or maybe I'll do swirls in the eyes and a ying yang for the nose. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I want to do a butterfly on the top of the head. The teeth on the black side will probably be painted white and the opposite for the other side. It will be all black and white if I can pull it off. We'll see, I change my mind sometimes. 😆 I need to get the line in the middle straightened out as well. 🤪

Lil Miss Spin is about done. Just will need touched up and glossed. Once I have everything all painted I'll go over and do touch ups then gloss them all. She doesn't quite hold a tea light. A tea light will sit on top though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok, so I messed up a little doing my mix. 🤭 I doubled the water ratio in my head twice on accident 🙃 It was supposed to be 12oz for 2 pounds of powder and I put 24oz of water in forgetting I already doubled the water in my head. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I didn't realize it until I was stirring it and then I had to scramble to add 2 more pounds of mix since you only have so much time with this stuff... 😆 well I'll tell you how that went! The scale wasn't registering, so I couldn't weigh it and so I had to wing it and guess how much 2 pounds was, now it wasn't the scale's fault! I thought I was being smart. Since I wasn't working by a plug I decided I would use a power bank for the scale ... well it did work the first couple times , just not when all was going wrong of course! Then I also had to grab more molds than I was planning on using so I didn't waste the two extra pounds of powder mix... So exciting ! 🤣 Anyways... fortunately for me, things didn't turn out as bad as I thought they might. It all turned out decent considering, with the exceptions of my incense burners and my little dragon pieces. The lips around the burners are messed up and chipped, but I may be able to sand them down. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The dragon pieces are missing parts of it's scales on the back.🫤 After they are fully cured I will do the painting, the glossing and all that fun stuff. 🤪
