Tonight I read my son a book about mindfulness. There are days I get caught up in the negativity that is our current reality. But then, I look back at these shining moments I captured during the same days I wanted to rip my hair out, scream, climb the walls, and rage. I remember how incredibly beautiful the world is, if we pause and take the time to notice the glimmers instead of what our screens are yelling into our faces. Take 5 minutes to be mindful. Breathe deeply because you have air in your lungs and it tastes sweet this time of year because the trees have purified that air for you. Be grateful that the sun has risen, and the birds are singing, and under all the chaos, the world is still turning in a universe made of stars and magic. We are a part of it all. Be mindful and be magic.

May marks the beginning of Beltane, a celebration of the sun's energy, joy and renewal. Beltane comes from the Gaelic language, meaning Bright Fire. So, allow yourself to burn bright this weekend. Embrace the nature around you through all 4 elements; walk barefoot in the grass, burn a fire or light a candle, splash in a creek, and listen to the song of the birds or crickets.

My mantra this week has been "If you build it, they will come." Brownie points if you get the movie reference 😘 I'm finally satisfied with my healing space and excited to share it with you all.

Happy Earth Day. Today I celebrated her by feeding the crows in the morning, laying in the soft grass and absorbing the sun's rays in the afternoon, and then get my hands dirty with some potting soil. We planted our seeds to germinate and eventually grow food and flowers for the bees, butterflies, and humans to enjoy. I hope you got to spend the day enjoying and celebrating Lady Earth. 🐦‍⬛☀️🌱

The moon, my hands facilitating a healing, and a little cauldron burn. I’ll be adding Reiki healing sessions to my booking site soon, and appointments will be offered after Mother’s Day. How fitting 🥰 Reiki feels very maternal or divinely feminine. Women could probably heal the world.
