A few countertop thoughts from a design team that has definitely carried way too many slab samples around 😉👇

• Don’t pick your countertop based on a tiny sample alone. The full slab can feel VERY different.
• Your countertops should work with your everyday life, not against it. Beautiful is important… but so is not stressing every time someone sets down a juice box. 🤍
• If you’re doing a bold backsplash OR dramatic cabinetry, let one thing be the star of the show.
• Veining can lean warm, cool, busy, soft, modern, coastal… it changes more than people realize.
• And pleaseeee don’t panic if you can’t decide between two. We spend an embarrassing amount of time debating countertops too. 😉

POV: the kitchen finally starts feeling like home.

We have our hearts out for the trim details, warm sconces, and glass layering at our .
One of our favorite parts of the process is slowing down with clients during these reviews and helping them visualize how they’ll actually live here. Morning coffee on the lake. Hosting family for holidays. Little everyday routines that deserve to feel beautiful too.
This is why we render first. So decisions feel intentional, not overwhelming.
