We had leftover jalapeños from some pickled eggs we made for a friend. We harvested some cucumbers and decided to put a spin on bread & butter pickles. We tossed in the jalapeños and then added some peppercorns & red pepper flakes! A sweet and spicy spin on a classic. Can’t wait to try these! 🌶️🔥🍞🧈🥒

Hope everyone’s having a great start to their Labor Day weekend! We’ve been busy harvesting and canning today. Let us know where all the good yard sales are! Also, leave us a comment telling what flowers you would like to see in our upcoming bouquets?? ☺️ We’re so excited for guys to try all of our homemade pickles and peppers that we’ve been whipping up this summer! We’re using this extra time off to work on the farm-stand and upcoming flower patch. We’re so excited to transform a piece of our backyard into a full on flower farm! So far we plan to grow Sunflowers, Zinnias, Dahlias, Snapdragons, Lisianthus & Eucalyptus-just to name a few! What are your favorites? Thank y’all again for all the encouragement and support!! Duckies are finally laying!! 😍 It’s been an everyday Easter egg hunt around here tho. 😅 If you know any tips to get ducks to lay in their coop or even a certain spot send them our way! Still yet, we love our little dinosaurs! 🖤🦆

Working full time, raising two kiddos, and keeping up with our funny farm is a lot of work! 😅 From harvesting and preserving to amending the garden to planting more food to starting new projects and learning new things… and the nightly homework, laundry, and dishes..🥴Some days I don’t know how we do it yet it gets done and my hearts content and at the end of the day I’m so thankful. 🙌 If you’ve ever imagined raising and growing your own food and think you need 50 acres or a ton of money you’re wrong. You just need the right attitude. You’d be surprised what you can create right out of your own backyard. 🌱
