It was a magical day picking flowers at Polly’s Petal Patch !

Cayla is living my dream life on her flower farm.

(Was she serious about saying she wanted me to design flower arrangements for her??)

A surprise from The Secret Garden...

a sample pocket boutonniere and wrist corsage!

My teenager is going to his first homecoming dance this weekend and I'm making the wearable florals.

I tested out the mechanics and base greenery with these fun floral designs made with flowers from The Secret Garden.

The Secret Garden has been coming alive again with all the recent rain!

I'm deep into crafty projects for our sequel wedding next month. Distressing wood is my new favorite craft. I love doing the crackle finish.

What is your backup hobby when you need to mix things up??

I found a friend in The Secret Garden today.

What tasks are you hopping around to on this Sunday?

It's getting very hot again here in central NC and yesterday we noticed bees looking for water.

You can easily provide a watering hole for bees with things you already have:

-a shallow pan, container, dish, bowl, etc.
-rocks, sticks, flat marbles for the bees to land on
-a place in the shade
-some "dirty" water the bees can detect by smell (like rainwater, pond water, or saltwater)

I'll post a pic of the Pollinator Ponds we sold at our spring markets to inspire your creativity for making a safe place for bees and butterflies to drink water.

Happy Independence Day!

This arrangement is giving off "firework" vibes. 🎆

And what I like the most is that it includes flowers from The Secret Garden and my parents' garden!
