WELL. THIS IS EMBARRASSING.
We scheduled three Halloween flower classes, and somehow we’ve ended up with a situation that requires a press conference.
🎤 REPORTER: Can you explain what happened to Thursday’s Boo-Quet Ghost Workshop?
US: Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel it.
🎤 REPORTER: Any comment on the rumors that the ghosts were unhappy?
US: We will not be discussing the paranormal personnel issues at this time. Basically they “ghosted us”
🎤 REPORTER: And Saturday’s Pumpkin Bouquet Workshop?
US: SOLD OUT.
🎤 REPORTER: So the pumpkins are more popular than the ghosts?
US: We would appreciate it if you’d stop trying to create tension between the produce and the deceased.
🎤 REPORTER: What’s next for Apple & Dove?
US: On Halloween, we’re hosting our Hocus Pocus Broom Workshop at 2 PM.
🎤 REPORTER: You’re charging people to make brooms?
US: Decorative brooms.
🎤 REPORTER: So they don’t actually clean anything?
US: Neither does my husband when he says he’s going to help around the house, but nobody’s holding a press conference about THAT.
🎤 REPORTER: Is there anything else you’d like the public to know?
US: Yes. We still have seats available for Halloween, and we’d really appreciate it if people would stop asking whether the brooms fly.
We are a flower shop, not Southwest Airlines.
