This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to write. 😔

pureglow started as something I built from nothing. Late nights, early mornings, testing scents over and over, pouring candles in my kitchen, packing orders on the floor, coming up with new products , scents and launches … all of it came from a place of passion and love.

But the reality is… things have changed.

The cost of materials, shipping, vendor fees, everything it takes to run a small business… it’s all gone up. A lot. And trying to keep up while still making products I’m proud of just isn’t sustainable anymore.

This wasn’t an easy decision. And honestly, it doesn’t feel good.
But it’s the right one for me right now.

I’m so grateful for every single person who supported pureglow. Whether you bought one candle or have been here since day one… you made this so real.

I am restocking Makers Market Co-Op by Big Red Homestead tonight with the last of the car diffusers & perfumes. Catch me at White Horse Winery on April 18th for my last pop up!

Okay wait… why does this actually sound like the best random Wednesday ever? 🕯️🍻

We’re doing a candle making night at Magnify Brewing and it’s gonna be such a vibe. You’ll create your own scent from scratch, pour your own 8oz wood wick candle, design the label, and just hang out and sip while you do it.

It’s cozy. It’s creative. It’s midweek plans that don’t feel boring.

Not all “clean” candles are created equal.

Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s better.

Paraffin is petroleum-based.
Soy is plant-derived but often heavily processed.
And labels don’t always tell the full story.

At pureglow, we use coconut-apricot wax and FSC-certified wood wicks because what fills your space should feel as good as it smells.
