They hate to see The “Boss Lady” coming… ESPECIALLY in a floral dress. BUT you just gotta give them a hands-on demonstration because sometimes men just don’t really get it the first time.

Day ONE of exterior demo is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally get this transformation started!

Love the look of a plate wall but don’t have the time—or patience—to spend years collecting the perfect plates? 😂 We feel your pain. Sometimes we just ain’t got time for all that.

Pulled our exterior demo permit last week with no problem. City came back this morning and apparently removing some s**tty vinyl siding now requires the same level of engineering as the Eiffel Tower. 😂

Nothing says “historic preservation” quite like requiring extremely costly & unnecessary engineered drawings to JUST remove vinyl siding.

Looks like the city is determined to keep another s**tty building in its portfolio. 🫡

At this rate, the vinyl siding may be historic by the time we’re allowed to remove it.

Just framed some new artwork and we are absolutely in love! 🎨✨ These impressionistic church prints paired with acrylic and gold-accented frames turned out SO good. Come see them in person at Emily’s Design Center & Boutique!

Sorry to leave y’all hanging…. we had to go on vacation to decompress from this purchase. 😂 But we’re back, mentally recovered-ish, and ready to get to work🫡

First order of business: Opal showed up in a perfectly coordinated purple outfit and has officially voted to KEEP the purple door.

She’s 2, but apparently she’s on the design committee now. Unfortunately, her vote counts. 💜😂

After a little (or very long) hiatus from buying questionable real estate, we decided to add to the chaos, & bought another ✨certified sh*t✨ yesterday… and we couldn’t be more excited!

Any guesses what we’re going to turn it into? 👀

Now if you’ll excuse us, we have a century’s worth of weird s**t, bad remodels, and questionable decisions to rip out.
