Beginning this morning, GCFD is conducting a controlled burn at Schulman Ave and the bypass, directly across from Old Chicago. Periodic visible flames and heavy smoke will be present. Conditions may last through the weekend. Please be cautious if you are traveling in the area of East US Highway 83.
