Finished these two pen/pencil holders for wifey. Bloodwood (top), walnut, very thin strip of cherry, maple (largest piece), and then walnut. Of course I had to engrave some cool sayings and a crest that fits our family quite well!!

PSA to everyone that sells products on Facebook be careful. Scammers are getting more convincing. It’s always wise to accept cash in person or PayPal. PayPal, unlike Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, etc. protects both parties the most, but keep in mind that PayPal will never ask you to call them to verify a payment. Emails from PayPal will come from .com email addresses and no other email addresses. Don’t click links in email addresses claiming to be PayPal. I’ve attached screenshots of messages from scammers, the “PayPal” emails, and their pages…

Sanded to 180 grit with two more rounds of sanding to go and then into the oil. This board is absolutely stunning. It’s hard to believe that there are 7 different types of wood in this pattern (hard and soft maple, cherry, walnut, Padauk, red heart, and some wenge).
