Stop letting your drapery shrink the room’s impact, it is jewelry for the window!

Common mistakes — mounting the rod too low or too narrow, choosing panels that are too short or flat, and skimping on proper hardware — all of which kill scale, block light, and cheapen even luxe fabrics. Fixes: mount higher and wider (ceiling or 4–6" above trim; extend rod 8–12" past the frame), use floor‑grazing lengths, and match hardware weight to fabric.
