We all lost an angel today. She’s one of the first voices I ever remember hearing. I was lucky to grow up in a home that always had her voice close by me. She’s the reason I play autoharp and someone whose songwriting skills I have always strived towards. A once in a millennium beautiful human being that we all got to share this earth with. I will always be thankful for that. Let’s all do our best to honor Dolly’s example of how to live. Be kind, accepting, patient and generous. And most importantly, have a great sense of humor! I know this one hits deep for so many of us. I know she would want us all to celebrate her, each other and this life we’ve been given with unbridled joy and appreciation. So let’s try our very best!

Celebrating 20 years in Los Angeles today! Not great to be back in Seattle where I spent the first 30 years of life and be surrounded by wildfires. I’m thankful this is where I come from. But I’m happy to not be a soggy human anymore. I love L.A.!!!
