We bought this mountain fixer upper last year… and it flooded 30 minutes before we took ownership.

At the time it felt like the worst possible start. But it ended up being the biggest silver lining.

Because suddenly we were able to tackle projects right away that otherwise might’ve taken years. And honestly… we love how it turned out!

The fireplace was actually the easiest makeover of all. My husband had never laid stone before, but we gave it a try and love the result.

NEW WALMART DROP AND ITS SOOO GOOD!

I’m honestly so impressed with this cute athletic dress! It’s so comfortable, so cute, so supportive with a built-in sports bra and bike shorts… That, yes, have pockets for tennis or pickle balls, and most importantly it’s SO incredibly affordable!

Plus, I love that it’s stylish enough to go from courtside to cocktails! 🎾 🍹

I go thrifting because I love beauty, history, and second chances. But today, it felt important to pair something ordinary with something that isn’t.

Right now, children like Liam, just five years old, are being held in detention centers. Families are separated. Kids are scared. Many are there without a clear reason, without the care, safety, or dignity every human deserves.

This isn’t about sides or policies for me. It’s about human rights. It’s about believing that children should not be treated like criminals, that families deserve humane conditions, and that compassion should never be controversial.

If something feels wrong in your gut, listen to it. We can love pretty things and still speak up for people. Both can exist. 🤍

Over the past two days, I’ve lost 1,000 followers… and honestly, I’ve never felt lighter. 💛

I have no regrets about speaking up for human rights and kindness because no brand deal, pillow, or decor piece is worth compromising my values. This is my Human Kindness Diet: shedding the dead weight and making space for a community that cares about human decency and morality.

If you don’t use a platform, FOR GOOD, then what good is it for? In case there was ever a question, yes I love a good thrifted find and Yes I love affordable home decor but MORE IMPORTANTLY I love love! and I think it’s available for anyone and everyone, and I also am a big fan of human rights! I don’t think any further explanation is needed. And yes, I will rebuild but this time with the right community…surrounding each each other and lifting each other up in love and kindness and empathy For those that are still with me, I SEE YOU ♥️ For those who are new, WELCOME ♥️
