Putting Up Gulf Shrimp

This is just part of living in South Louisiana. 😂 We picked up 10 pounds of fresh Gulf shrimp, so I spent the afternoon deheading them and getting them ready for the freezer. It’s a little bit of work now, but I sure do love having fresh Gulf shrimp put up and ready when I need them. 🦐❤️

The birds deserve a little charcuterie board too. 😂🐦 I had so much fun putting this together for our backyard visitors. Now we’ll see which treat disappears first! ❤️

Uncle Jim’s Chicken Spaghetti ❤️
One of our family favorites and a recipe Uncle Jim taught me years ago. This was my first time filming a full step-by-step cooking video, and I may have forgotten to show a couple of things along the way 😂 — including the finished plate! But I had so much fun making this one.

Finally getting a little sunshine today ☀️

I am so ready to spend some time out here enjoying the pool and the pavilion. ☀️

This has become one of my favorite spots in our backyard — sitting here, watching the birds, and enjoying a little peaceful time outside.

I’m definitely ready for more warm days like this. 💙
